Enhancing VS Ranking Explained!

Two terms that you'll need to know the diffence between are "enhancing" vs "ranking". Enhancing is when you change the color of the boarder around your hero.


(There is a purple border one, I just don't have one currently as my last one went gold already.)

These borders are enhancing your hero, which is done by three crowning an Elite Hero stage by sweeping it.

Silver is Common
Green is Uncommon
Blue is Rare
Purple is Epic
Gold is Legendary

Firstly, it takes 10 medals to unlock a hero, (unless already acquired or gained from completing certain chapters). From Common to Uncommon, is 20 medals, from Uncommon to Rare is 50 medals, from Rare to Epic is 100 medals, and from Epic to Legendary is 150 medals. All in all, 330 medals to take your heroes to Legendary. 

When you enhance them, it gives turf boosts of various types.

Stone Production boost 150%
Calvary Defense boost 50%
Calvary Max Hit Point boost 50%


This is all helpful as turf boosts. This will not help you in Colosseum or Chapter Stages however. This is where ranking comes into play.

Ranking increases attack points, Recovery Round, Special Recharge, all listed in the image.

Rank 8, Legendary heroes are all around helpful.
Look at heroes individually and see what boosts would be the best for you! Tip: Trickster gives a Research boost and Scarlet Bolt and Sage of Storms both give Construction boosts! You'll always have big researches and getting to Castle 25 is important so target these 3 first!

Heroes Heroes are a very important part of this game! In this blog, we'll be going over how to rank your heroes, how to enhance them, which boosts they give, which ones to use with a specific monster, and how they overall help your growth!
